The Mindset
Single
Player.
No
Compromise.
I'm a lover of single-player games. No online lobbies, no battle passes — just me, a story, and a world I can get completely lost in for hours. There's something about a game designed for a solo experience that hits different. You're not performing for anyone. It's just you and the world.
I'm a straight-up Resident Evil cultist. The whole series. The classics, the remakes, the ones people argue about — I've played them all and I'll defend most of them. RE is the franchise that made me realize games could be genuinely terrifying and still be impossible to put down.
Beyond survival horror I gravitate toward games with real stakes, real atmosphere, and mechanics that respect your time. When a game earns it, I'll play it until the sun comes up.
Current Rotation
In Rotation.
What's getting hours right now. Single-player, no compromise — the worlds I'm living in.

Resident Evil: Requiem
The series has my permanent loyalty — every entry, every remake. Requiem sits right at the top of the rotation.

007: First Light
A young Bond origin story from IO Interactive — a proper single-player 007, exactly the kind of game I love to live in.

Undying
A survival game where you play as a zombie mother protecting her son. The concept alone has me locked in.

Zelda: Ocarina of Time
The one that shaped how I think about games. Running it back on the Deck — still flawless.

Zelda: Twilight Princess
Darker, moodier Hyrule — Zelda the way I like it. Always finds its way back into the rotation.

I'm a PC Gamer. I Bought a PS5 Pro for GTA VI Anyway.
My rig is a Ryzen 3900X and an RTX 2080 Ti, and I live on Steam. But GTA VI launches on consoles only, and history says PC players wait a year or more. I wasn't going to sit that out, so I bought a PS5 Pro.

These are the games that shaped how I think about gaming. Some of the best times I ever had in front of a screen. Old doesn't mean done.

Marc Ecko's Getting Up
2006 · Action Fixes on PCGamingWiki ↗The Zelda 64 Decompilation Project.
A community of developers reverse-engineered the N64 versions of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask — turning the original compiled game code back into readable, portable C source code without using any of Nintendo's tools.
This means the games can now be compiled and run natively on modern hardware, ported to other platforms, and modified at a code level rather than just patching ROM bytes. It's one of the most technically impressive preservation achievements in gaming history — and it was done entirely by volunteers.
The practical results are already here: PC ports, HD texture packs that respect the original art, and mods that would have been impossible with the original ROM format. This is what game preservation should look like.
- Native PC port — runs without emulation
- Widescreen, 60fps, high resolution
- Deep modding — texture, model, code level
- Ports to Switch, Android, Wii U
- Long-term preservation, no emulator needed
Portable Gaming
Top 10 for the Deck.
The Steam Deck changed how I game. A full PC library in your hands — it's not a compromise, it's a different kind of freedom. These are the 10 games I'd load on it right now.
Add me and see what I'm actually running. Always down to compare libraries and hear what people are playing.

Where to find old games
Old games deserve a second life.
Some of the best games ever made aren't on any storefront: publishers moved on, servers are down, and discs cost a fortune. These sites preserve them. They're archives for games you literally can't buy, not replacements for ones you can.
